What information do we collect ? How do we use it ?

• When You place an order, we need to know Your name, Email address, mailing address. This allows us to process and fulfill Your order and to notify You of Your order status.
• When You choose to pay by Credit Card, all Your sensible data (Card Number, expiration date) do not pass through our system at all, because a special connection with BANCA SELLA Gateway is activated: the Bank will verify on our behalf Your Card validity. All the data requested by BANCA SELLA are SSL - 128 bit encrypted (Secure Socket Layer), that is all the date are unreadable and protected during the transit on the Internet from Your computer to the Bank's Server. Data protection offered by this system is the state of the art, and is continously updated. As a matter of fact no data related to Your Credit Card pass or returns on THE BIOSHOP.
• THE BIOSHOP checks customer traffic inside various Departments, to better develop the general appearance and functionality of the site.
• We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify You about important functionality changes to the Web site, new services offered by THE BIOSHOP and special offers we think You'll find valuable.

How does THE BIOSHOP protect customer information ?

When You place orders to be paid through Credit Card, the whole transaction is made on a Secure Server at our Bank (BANCA SELLA). The Secure Server Software (SSL) encrypts all information You input before sending them on the Web. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.

What about "Cookies" !

"Cookies" are small pieces of imformation that are stores by Your browser (Microsoft Explorer, Netscape Navigator) on Your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personal information, but they do enable us to provide some useful features: for example Your last shopping cart it is 'remembered' by THE BIOSHOP thanks to cookies. Will THE BIOSHOP disclose the information it collects to outside parties ?

THE BIOSHOP does not sell, trade, or rent Your personal information to others.
